Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please review before applying. Because conditions vary by the nature of each program, a program's specific terms may take precedence over this policy.

This policy is a structural draft. Specific refund rates and deadlines will be updated to the official version once the operating entity and finance / legal review are confirmed, before checkout goes live.

Cancellation by the participant

Refund eligibility and rates for the deposit and balance are set in tiers based on days before the start date (e.g., 45 / 30 / 14 days prior). Confirmed rates are shown on each program page and at application.

Handling of the deposit

The deposit secures a seat. Cancellations after a defined deadline may, in principle, be non-refundable.

Cancellation or change by the organizer

If the organizer cancels a program, tuition already paid is refunded in full. For material changes to dates, venue, or content, participants are notified and offered a refund or transfer where appropriate.

Non-participation due to visa or travel

For international programs, the handling of non-participation due to visa denial or inability to travel follows the specific terms presented at application. We assist within feasible limits, such as issuing required documents.

Force majeure

If a program becomes impossible due to force majeure (natural disaster, epidemic, public measures, etc.), the default handling is transfer, postponement, or refund, communicated individually.

Refund method

Refunds are, in principle, issued to the original payment method. Actual costs such as transfer fees may be deducted. Refunds require a defined processing period.

Substitution and transfer

Whether participant substitution or cohort transfer is permitted is defined per program. Procedures are provided by the office where available.
